Posted June 29Jun 29 Hello, everyone! I am Kim. I am 53 years old, and I found the link to this forum on TCH. I was born with hydrocephalus, which is fluid on the brain. It caused me to suffer a lot of delays and prevented me from living a completely normal life. I don't let it hold me back, though. I've had two dreams in my life. One is to become a published author. I am still working on it. The other is to become a mom. This one I succeeded on. I have been battling depression for years. It has gotten worse after the death of my emotional support cat and best feline friend, Shadow, last year. I am also into exercise and weight loss (I have diabetes), creating graphics, and a variety of other activities.

You have hydrocephalus! I have it too. Was born 3 months early and weighed 2lbs 9ozs. I get really bad headaches every day. I also have type 2 diabetes. If you want to talk or whatever please don't hesitate to contact me.
July 1Jul 1 Author Thank you. It's nice to meet someone else who has hydrocephalus and diabetes. I am working on trying to lose weight so I can reverse mine. Mine is also type 2. The headaches are so annoying.
