Posted June 21Jun 21 Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.[b]5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.[c]Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.Psalm 30 In moments of hardship, discipline, even the repercussion of wrong choices, there can be weeping. Our emotions were given to us by God because He has emotions. We see them mentioned often throughout the Bible. The shortest verse in the Scriptures is “Jesus wept.” Ecclesiastes speaks of there being a season for everything. The good news for us is the seasons; the weeping, and the mourning are not the place we are to remain. Joy comes when? Joy comes in the morning. The morning can be the start of a new day, a new year, a new way of thinking, a new direction… the list is endless. The message is life will be tough, but hang on because “O Lord, You have brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.” Psalm 30:3. Joy comes in the morning, expect it!Wherever you are today, whatever you are going through at this moment in time is no accident. God is using every bit of it to shape you and prepare you for the place He wants to bring you into tomorrow. Trust Him because HE is forever faithful. God bless you!
