In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” John 16:33 Some of you have found yourself in the teeth of a torrential storm. It seeks to dash you to pieces! I see your dashed dreams trying to sink, your desperate efforts trying to get it all back together. You feel in complete darkness as the sun and moon have just disappeared for you. Look closely because in the midst of your storm, you will see your King Jesus walking toward you upon the waters. He is saying to you, "Be of good cheer for I Am here!" The same One who gave Paul songs in that dungeon at Philippi and gave him peace in the midst of that storm raging is the same One coming for you. That sweet name of Jesus that calms every raging wave, every howling wind and stops the demons in their tracks. You serve a Mighty God who remains in control when all else looks like it is spinning out of control. So be of good cheer and take courage for the Ultimate Peace has entered the eye of your storm.
